For many years now the unofficial symbol of Spain has been the black bull. So called the Osbourne bull because it was the Osbourne drinks company who used the black bull as their trade mark. These large bill board type adverts were placed high on the hillsides all over Spain with the company name wrote across them, and could be seen for miles around. In 1994 a new law was passed which meant the bulls could no longer carry the company logo. So in order for the bulls to keep their place on the hills they had to be painted all black and are now maintained by the Spanish government.
This photo was taken in Fuengirola....but who is the joker who painted white spots on it and turned it into a cow!
