White Storks in Spain

Down in southern Spain is a place called Almoraima which is a cotton growing area. Situated roughly North East of Gibraltar it is also home to a large colony of white storks which build their nests on top of the electricity pylons at the side of the railway lines.
Some of the pylons have actually had special man made platforms built up above the lines to save the storks from getting electrocuted as they fly in and out of their nests.

Spanish Village

Sadly I dont know exactly where it was or what the village is called, but it looked so picturesque as we were passing and managed to take this photo as the train was speeding passed at about 280km per hr!

Sight-seeing in Spain

Two ways by which to do your sight-seeing in Spain.
The traditional horse and carriage as above or the newer version of travel is the open top bus as seen below.
These buses are found in most cities in Spain and a ticket for this bus last for 24 hrs and you can get on and off the bus where ever you please.
