Costa del Sol - Nerja

Three shots from Nerja, showing the very colourful streets and shops.
Nerja is a few kms to the west of Malaga and well worth a visit if you are in Andalucia.

Nerja is a resort with something for everyone, with shopping, sightseeing, eating at the restraunts with stunning views of the coast from the 'Balcon de Europ' or just having a relaxing time while the kids amuse themselves playing in the soft sand on the beach.

Marbella - Old town

Not exactly the well known Golden Mile of Marbella but still a very nice part of the town!
These little doorways are very deceiving by making you think that there is only a very tiny living area behind the front door, but after walking around the town and seeing the doors open they are quite large dwellings and some even open up into their own private courtyard.
The owners take pride in their homes and sweep and mop the pavements outside every morning !

Costa Brava - Lloret de Mar

Views of the castle near Sa Caleta beach at Lloret de Mar.
The building of the castle was started in 1935 but not completed until after the Spanish civil war in the 1940s.
Since then it has become the image by which Lloret is always easily recognised by, as it is featured on the cover of many guide books for the area, and must have been photographed millions of times!

Costa Brava Resorts

Blanes situated between the resorts of Malgrat and Lloret de Mar is a very busy holiday resort in the summer months.
A street market is held every Monday morning along the sea front selling clothing, shoes, household goods and all kinds of souvenirs.
One street behind the sea front is where all the fruit and veg is on sale.
Blanes has its own local train station and a vast number of hotels and excellent shopping areas, which makes this an ideal holiday spot for people from all over Europe
