Costa Brava - Palamos

An unusual place to eat is this 'floating restaurant' at Palamos.
Most of the main course dishes are fish as you can well imagine...but a fabulous place to eat!

Donkey Taxis of Mijas

Pictured here are the taxi donkeys of Mijas, where some of the streets are so narrow its not possible to get round by car.
So one way for the tourists to travel is by donkey!

Also in Mijas, the photo below shows one of the colourful gardens.
All the residents take great pride in their properties, by decorating their gardens and balconys with flowers all year round.
So with the small town always looking its best, this brings loads of tourists to town...from which they will all benefit!

Andalucia - Mijas

One of the steep narrow streets in Mijas, not the easiest place to get about...
... but well worth the trip up into the hills to see this beautiful white washed village!

Daytime temps have been 22ยบ.

Two photos showing the port at Gibralter on a dull and cloudy day.

When the skys are clear the coast of North Africa can easily be seen across the Staits.
