Music on the Costas

Playing at various markets and other places where the tourists gather on the Costa's in Spain are Indian musicians.
They are all very good, and people stand and listen to their soothing music.
They even sell their CD's to the spectators.

Benalmadena - Paloma Park

Last year the lake in Paloma Park was given a total clean-up which involved draining and scraping all the debris and dirt from the bottom. It is now looking much better now that its finished and as these photos show the swans and ducks etc can now enjoy the water once again!
The park is open daily with no charge for admission.
All the wildlife is free to roam as they please, so its quite common to see cockerels and chickens out on the street as you walk past the park gates! Rabbits also live in the park, but they are not the wild grey or brown ones you would expect. They are quite tame and will come and eat from your hand.

Malaga Cathedral

Here we have three different views of the Cathedral at Malaga.

The Cathedral was built between 1528 and 1782 on a site which was originally where a mosque stood. Owing to a lack of funds for the plans to be completed, the cathedral was built with only one tower.
So the cathedral is affectionally known as 'La Manquita' loosely translated as the 'one armed woman'!

Parrots on the Costa del Sol

The parrots of the Costa del Sol are now busy building their nests,
so are disturbing the peace and quiet with their squawking as they fight for the best tree!
