Aquaduct near Nerja

This photo was taken from the bus window while travelling to Nerja from Malaga.
Originally was used to carry water for the local sugar factory.
Although the factory is no longer in production the aqua duct is still in use,
and makes a very impressive sight as you suddenly come across it near the road side!

Sardines for Lunch.

A popular starter course for the 'Menu del Dia' on the Costa del Sol would be sardines.
They are caught by the local fisher men then sold to the beach front restaurants where they are barbecued on a skewer.
If you don't fancy a full menu you can buy the sardines for about 5€ per portion.
They smell and taste delicious!

Estepona - Andalucia

Here we have 2 views from Estepona in Southern Spain.
One shows the long promenade on the sea front, and the next shows the mountains at the back of the town covered by low cloud.
